Chase Stearnes received his 200-HR yoga teaching certification from Grassroots Yoga in 2017, and has been practicing yoga since 2011. He first tried yoga when an old friend invited him to a hot yoga class and immediately he was hooked! With a diverse background in meditation, pranayama, and movement, Chase’s classes offer a practice that is holistic and relaxing.
Gentle & Restorative Yoga
Chase’s gentle & restorative class is all about support and relaxation, with a focus on finding the stillness within. Class will begin with some gentle, warming movement, though most of the class will be spent unwinding over bolsters, blankets, and blocks. We will often hold postures for as long as 5-15 minutes. This works to open the body to stillness and release the mind from it’s movements. This class will provide an hour for restless minds to settle, and reflect on what brings us joy, while bringing relief from common chronic aches and pains.
