Salih is an RYT 200hr Teacher and has been practicing yoga since 1996. Salih found yoga after suffering from back pain and injuries due to martial arts training and competition. He needed something to help ease his back pain and help with his overall flexibility. He says that after his first yoga class his back felt so great that he broke out in tears and has continued his yoga practice from that day forward. Salih says that yoga is in everything he does. It encompasses all other activities, He finds a connection to yoga in his work, in martial arts, even in the meals he eats.
All Levels Yoga Class
Salih’s class is rather eclectic—he blends vinyasa flow with Iyengar based asanas. It includes vigorous and continuous movement with opportunities for more challenging poses. Often he adds restorative postures to help heal and relax the body. You can also expect to use props and different approaches to certain asanas in order to modify postures for your unique body.
